CPD: Man in serious condition after Sayler Park accident

CINCINNATI - A man is being treated for serious injuries after he was involved in an accident in Sayler Park Saturday evening.

Police say James Bright, 57, was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Impala in the 5900 block of River Road at 6:42 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle and it overturned.

Bright was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center by the Cincinnati Fire Department. He was listed in serious condition as of 11:30 p.m.

Police say Bright was not wearing his seat belt.

Speed is believed to have played a role in the crash, according to the police report.

The accident remains under investigation.
