COLERAIN TWP, Ohio - Police are investigating a shooting at a Colerain Township bar early Friday morning.
Police say a 31-year-old man was shot outside of the Bottoms Up Tavern, located at 8325 Colerain Avenue around 1:50 a.m. The victim told police he was in the parking lot of the bar when he was approached by a black man who shot him multiple times.
The suspect, who the victim said he did not know, fled on foot after the shooting.
Emergency crews transported the victim to University Hospital, where he is being treated for non life threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as a black male about 5 foot, 8 inches tall and between 24 and 28 years old with a skinny build. The suspect wore all dark clothing at the time of the shooting.
Police continue to investigate the shooting.
