COLERAIN TWP., Ohio - A suspect in a late-afternoon bank robbery fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash Tuesday.

Initial scanner traffic reports indicate a man allegedly entered the Fifth Third Bank at 3656 Springdale Road, brandished a black handgun and demanded money from a bank teller at approximately 4:30 p.m.

Police say the suspect fled the scene before authorities arrived.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black zipper hoodie, black sweat pants and black shoes.

The suspect managed to fill a duffel bag with an undetermined amount of cash and fled the scene before policeĀ  arrived, according to preliminary scanner reports.
