CHEVIOT, Ohio - A Cheviot man is behind bars accused of kidnapping a mentally challenged woman and raping her.

Court documents say that 44-year-old Robert Cook took a woman from Montgomery from her home on Jan. 15. He then engaged in sexual conduct with the woman, knowing her ability to resist was substantially impaired.

Cook was arrested on Friday and faced a judge Saturday morning.

He is currently being held on $900,000.
