Man cleared of charges after 2011 Taser incident

CINCINNATI - A Sayler Park man has been cleared of any charges after an incident involving a Taser in 2011.

James Depue used a Taser on three attempted burglars in August 2011 at the apartment complex he runs in the 6000 block of Gracely Drive in Sayler Park.

Depue was initially arrested by Cincinnati police along with two other of the alleged burglars and charged with misdemeanor assault. Depue was released the following day and cleared of all charges. WCPO did not report this update following the day after Depue’s arrest and regrets the error.
