2 people injured in Wilder crash

WILDER, Ky - Police are investigating a crash in Wilder, Ky that injured 1 person and left another in critical condition Saturday evening.

Investigators say a driver traveling northbound on the AA Highway at Pooles Creek failed to stop at the intersection and struck another vehicle around 7:15 p.m.

The vehicle struck was turning south onto the AA Highway from Pooles Creek. Initial reports show that the traffic light had lost power in all directions and it was also raining at the time of the crash.

The driver and passenger of the vehicle hit were taken to University Hospital. The driver is in stable condition and the passenger is listed in critical condition.

The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
