WALTON, Ky. - Three people were rescued from a burning building in Walton, Ky. early Thursday morning.

According to fire dispatch, the blaze at an apartment complex located at 45 Kuchle Drive displaced eight families. No one is believed to have been injured during the fire.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene around midnight after receiving reports of a fire.

The main fire was under control by 12:20 a.m., according to dispatch reports, but crews expected to be at the scene for several hours after the fact.

The American Red Cross is working with the displaced families.

Investigators are still attempting to determine the cause of the fire.
