VILLA HILLS, Ky. - The mayor of Villa Hills is distributing a letter defending his leadership.

In the letter, which 9 News obtained, Mayor Mike Martin addresses what he calls the challenges he's "endured and overcome."

The letter was distributed to Villa Hills residents door to door.

Martin is currently under investigation for alleged misuse of city facilities, improper disposal of city property, alleged retaliatory comments, business practices, and disposition of open records issues.

Martin doesn't mention the investigation in his letter to residents.

The results of the investigation are set to be released April 30 during a public hearing.
