VILLA HILLS, Ky. - Mayor Mike Martin will not get to preside over his removal hearing.

The decision was made Friday during an injunction hearing.

Martin filed the request earlier this week after also filing a lawsuit against city council members.

A retired circuit court judge will instead oversee the removal hearing which has now been rescheduled for Oct. 22 at River Ridge School.

All six council members have voted to remove Martin after it was found that he violated ethics codes.
