BRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - At least two juveniles and one adult were injured in an accident after a school bus and a vehicle collided in Northern Kentucky Monday afternoon.
The incident happened around 3:35 p.m. on Sparks Road in Bracken County.
Bracken County school district superintendent Jeff Aulick told 9 On Your Side at least two juveniles suffered minor injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals as a precaution.
The driver of the vehicle suffered an ankle injury and was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
Bracken County Sheriff Howard Niemeier said no more than 17 students were on the bus at the time of the crash. The rest of the students were checked and cleared by EMS crews and either picked up by their parents at the scene or dropped off at their homes.
The incident remains under investigation.
