SOUTHGATE, Ky. - Police have identified the body of a man they found at a Northern Kentucky apartment complex and are calling the death suspicious.
Investigators removed the body from an apartment at the Fox Chase Apartments complex on Moock Road in Southgate around 12:20 a.m Thursday. Police had been on the scene for more than eight hours before removing the body, saying they were dispatched there to check on a person who had not been heard from for several days.
The body has been identified as David Sellers, 66, of Fox Chase Drive in Southgate.
Investigators at the scene were observed wearing hazmat-like suits. They said it was so they didn't contaminate the scene.
Police on the scene said the body found inside the apartment building did not die of natural causes. The cause of death will not be determined until after an autopsy has been conducted.
The incident remains under investigation.
