WALTON, Ky. - What would you do if someone was choking? Many may not know how they would react in that situation, but one Northern Kentucky boy knew the Heimlich maneuver was the only way to save his brother's life.

Louis Fritz, 11, of Walton, Ky. was enjoying a bedtime snack with his younger brother Davis, when Davis started choking on a piece of fruit.

"My brother was eating an orange slice, and he tried eating it all in one bite because he loves to do that," said Louis.

Louis recognized the signs and knew what to do without hesitation.
