NEWPORT, Ky. - A Boone County day care worker faces charges of one count of sexual abuse with a victim under the age of 12 and sodomy.
Newport police arrested Justin Harvill, 23, on Nov. 15 for events that allegedly took place at a private residence.
Harvill was an employee at the Boone County Head Start. According to a letter released by the center’s director Harvill was an employee of the day care since 2008.
Day care directors are currently conducting their own internal review of the situation, and are confident that no Head Start child was involved.
