BURLINGTON, Ky. - A man is set to be in court Wednesday morning after he allegedly hit and killed a man in Northern Kentucky in June.
Daniel Gose, 26, allegedly hit 18-year-old John Pernel, who was walking eastbound in the westbound lane of River Road on June 3. Pernel died a short time later.
Pernel's body was thrown from the roadway and Gose continued driving westbound on River Road without stopping. Pernel was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies stopped Gose just a short distance away on Northbend Road.
He was been charged with manslaughter, D.U.I., leaving the scene of an accident and driving with one headlight.
