Kentucky police look for New Liberty bank robbery suspect

NEW LIBERTY, Ky. - The Kentucky State Police is investigating a bank robbery that occurred Saturday morning in New Liberty, Ky.

State officers from Post 5 say the robbery took place just before 11:45 a.m. at the First Farmers Bank. Video from surveillance cameras at the bank shows the suspect entering the facility, going to a teller window and demanding money, according to the police report. The suspect fled the bank with an undetermined amount of money.

Police say the subject did not produce a weapon during the robbery.

Tellers describe the perpetrator as a white male who appeared to be in his early 20s, stand approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weigh around 140 pounds. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants at the time of the robbery.
