FORT MITCHELL, Ky. - Volunteer firefighters with the Fort Mitchell Fire Department displayed their support for the Cincinnati Reds by painting "Go Redlegs" on the front bay doors of their firehouse over the weekend.

"We're big Reds fans obviously," said Scott Menkhaus, a Fort Mitchell firefighter. "You can come into this firehouse when the Reds are playing and at least one of the TV's has the game on."

The firehouse is located on Dixie Highway so Menkhaus is hoping the sign gets noticed by fans and even the players.

"I know Brandon Phillips lives right down the street. He's come through a couple of times. I've seen him. I don't know about any other players," Menkhaus said. "If they see it, great. Heck, if we could get them to sign the windows for all I care."

The last bay door still has room for more signage just in case the Reds go all the way to the World Series.
