FLORENCE, Ky. - Police located a Northern Kentucky woman with an intellectual disability Wednesday morning after she went missing for more than four hours.
Officials found 20-year-old Megan Reed in Covington, Ky., at about 7:45 a.m. after she went missing from her home in the 6800 block of Sebree Drive in Florence, Ky., at about 3:30 a.m. Reed, who suffers from an intellectual disability and Asperger’s Syndrome, boarded a TANK bus and got off in Covington.
The bus driver contacted authorities after Reed got on the bus. Reed did not sustain any injuries while she was missing.
Reed’s sister, who reported her missing, said that she has gone missing twice before and officials found her at a Wal-Mart and St. Elizabeth Hospital in the area.
