New restaurant opens its doors in Florence

FLORENCE, Ky. - Northern Kentucky is welcoming a new restaurant, which is set to open its door Wednesday.
Quaker Steak & Lube is opening its first location in Kentucky at 3 p.m. The restaurant, which will create about 200 jobs for the area, is located at 8025 Action Boulevard in Florence.
“We are very excited to open the first Quaker Steak & Lube in the state of Kentucky, right here in Florence Y’All,” Jim Mills of Paragon Restaurant Group, which manages Quaker Steak & Lube, said in a news release. “Everyone will have the chance to enjoy live music every Friday night on our outdoor heated patio, amongst a large list of other events and promotions we will be hosting.”
The Florence location will be on an 11,000 square foot plot of land outside the Florence Mall and be able to accommodate 400 people including the patio and three bars.
The 38-year-old restaurant chain is known for wings and more than 20 varieties of sauce.
