FLORENCE, Ky - Investigators believe a bank robber has struck again at the same bank in less than a month.
Officers responded to the Heritage Bank in the 7700 block of U.S. 42 on Tuesday morning after a man walked in and demanded money without showing a weapon.
"He left the bank on westbound on U.S. 42 or right behind the Stith Funeral Home and the canine ran track back in that area but ended abruptly leading us to believe there was a vehicle waiting for him," said Capt. Linny Cloyd with the Florence Police Department.
Cloyd tells 9 On Your Side the same bank was robbed on Dec. 20.
"Same scenario. He walked in, demanded money and left in the same direction," Cloyd said. "We're hoping for anyone who can see the pictures can give us an idea who this is because once is bad, twice is pretty brazen."
Police released several surveillance pictures of the suspect. If you have any information that can help police identify the man, call Crime Stoppers at (513)-352-3040.
