COVINGTON, Ky. - A motorist is fine after driving a vehicle on top of another in a Covington parking garage Friday morning.
The vehicle drove through a barrier and onto a vehicle on a lower level in a parking garage located at 220 Madison Avenue at about 8:30 a.m. The driver, whose name has not yet been released, did not sustain any injuries in the crash.
The driver parked the vehicle on the fourth floor of the parking garage and it went through the cables in front of it, which separated it from the vehicles below. The front half of the vehicle was hanging off the level of the parking structure and rested on a vehicle below.
Authorities have not yet said what caused the vehicle to drive through the barrier. Tow trucks moved the vehicle at about 9 a.m.
Officials have not released any additional details including how much damage the crash caused.
