COVINGTON, Ky. - A teen convicted of a deadly shooting that happened in Covington more than a year ago is scheduled to be sentenced Tuesday morning.

Police arrested Romello Rice for his role in the death of 18-year-old Brett Thornberry in December 2011. Authorities say Rice was one of two people involved in the death of Thornberry in the 1000 block of Greenup Street.

Rice pleaded guilty to complicity to murder and robbery in March. The teen is being charged as an adult.

Rice is scheduled to appear in Kenton County court at 1:30 p.m.
