Northern Kentucky honors memory of Bishop William Hughes

COVINGTON, Ky. - Memories of the longtime bishop of Covington’s Catholic diocese span his strong faith and love of golf.
The diocese held a public prayer vigil Thursday night in memory of Bishop William Hughes. Bishop Hughes died a week ago at age 91.
Parishioner Mike Hammons was in attendance and remembered the way Bishop Hughes interacted with people in the community.
Visitation for Bishop Hughes continues Friday morning and will followed by a funeral mass at noon. All events are open to the public.
