Truck crashes into pole, causes power outages in Burlington neighborhood

BURLINGTON, Ky. - Several Boone County homes are in the dark early Wednesday morning after a garbage truck struck a utility pole in the area.
The truck struck the pole at the intersection of Conrad Lane and Regal Ridge in Burlington, Ky., at about 4 a.m. The accident did not cause any injuries, however, residents in the area lost power.
Authorities have not said how many homes are without power or when power will be restored. Crews are at the scene working to restore power, according to officials.
Officials have not released any additional details about the crash or its cause at this time.
