BURLINGTON, Ky. - A Salyersville man is facing manslaughter charges Wednesday, nearly five months after the fatal accident police say he caused.

Jonathan Keeton, 29, was allegedly drunk behind the wheel in July when he lost control of his vehicle, causing a deadly crash.

Boone County investigators say Keeton was speeding and swerved between lanes going off the road and hitting a culvert, sending the vehicle airborne.

Keeton and his passenger were thrown from the vehicle.

Connie Sutherland, a 31-year-old from Salyersville, died at the scene.

Keeton will be arraigned Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the Boone County courthouse.
