Free pet adoptions at Boone County Animal Shelter

BURLINGTON, Ky. - If you're looking to add a furry friend to your family, you can get a good deal on Monday.
The Boone County Animal Shelter is waiving the adoption fees on all spayed and neutered dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.
It's part of a national adoption drive effort called "Just One Day." More than 700 shelters and rescue groups across the country have pledged not to euthanize any healthy and adoptable animals on Monday, June 11.
The Boone County Animal Shelter will be open from noon until 6 p.m. on Monday.
