Ernest Lee Manery case: Sexual predator facing additional charges for allegedly raping minors

BURLINGTON, Ky. - More charges are pending against a repeat sex offender who allegedly took advantage of at least one child in Northern Kentucky.

Ernest Lee Manery is accused of raping and sodomizing a 10-year-old girl in Boone County. Officials say they are still investigating the case with the belief that Manery may have more underage victims.

Manery was arraigned Wednesday on three new counts of first degree sex abuse with a victim under the age of 12. His trial was scheduled for June.

He also had a pre-trial conference Wednesday for three counts of first degree rape with a victim under the age of 12, three counts of first degree sodomy with a victim under the age of 12, and three counts of sexual abuse with a victim under the age of 12.

He pleaded not guilty to those charges in February. During that hearing, Boone County prosecutors told a judge more charges against Manery were pending involving a second victim.

Manery is a registered sexual predator in Ohio.
