Woman struck by vehicle outside Bellevue business

BELLEVUE, Ky. - A woman is recovering after a vehicle hit her in Northern Kentucky early Wednesday morning.

A woman was walking from the Bellevue Veterans Club located at 24 Fairfield Avenue in Bellevue when a vehicle hit her at about 1 a.m.

Emergency crews transported the woman, whose name has not yet been released, to University Hospital with severe injuries. Officials have not released information about her condition at this time.

The driver stayed at the scene after the crash and charges has not yet been filed following the accident.

The accident happened about a mile away from a hit and run in Dayton, Ky. , early Wednesday morning.
