CRITTENDEN, Ky. - Leslie D. Collins, 44, was arrested for the attempted robbery of Total Care Pharmacy in Crittenden, Ky., according to the Kentucky State Police.

A caller contacted the police around 3:15 p.m.. on Jan. 16 saying a male entered the store with a note demanding pills. When the caller advised the suspect that they would call the police the man fled the store and drove off in a vehicle. The caller was able to get the license plate number of the car and relay it to dispatchers, the Kentucky State Police report.

The Kentucky State Police located the vehicle and suspect a short time later with the assistance of the Grant County Sheriff's Office.

Collins is currently jailed in the Grant County Detention Center.
