Money Magazine compiled a list of the 100 best small cities to live in the United States, and a Tri-State community made the list.
The magazine looked at housing quality, economic factors and overall quality of life to rank the 100 communities.
West Chester was named as the 97th best small city to live in the country.
The city, with a population of around 61,000, is booming thanks to nearby employers like BAE Systems, AK Steel and the new West Chester Hospital, Money Magazine said.
Some expansion plans were stymied by the economy, but a development that will offer residential, retail and entertainment space is in the works, Money Magazine said in their assessment of the community.
