OXFORD TWP, Ohio - The Butler County Sheriff's Office is searching for the man it says broke into a woman's home and attacked her.
Deputies say when the woman came home on July 9, she found an unknown male inside her home. He is described as a white male in his mid-20s to mid-30s with brown hair, a mustache and wearing a camouflage shirt and blue jeans.
The woman said the man was armed with a knife and attacked her, taking her to the ground. She was able to fight him off and got away. She then ran to an upstairs room where she locked herself inside to call 911.
Once deputies responded, they searched the area but did not find the suspect. The woman was taken to McCullough Hyde Hospital for minor injuries to her hands.
Anyone with information concerning the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is asked to contact the Butler County Sheriff's Office at (513) 785-1300.
