LEBANON, Ohio - A Tri-State man has been arrested for robberies both in the local area and other parts of the U.S.
James Robinson, 48, from Trenton, Ohio, is sitting in a Washington County Jail in Virgina.
Robinson is being accused of robbery not only there, but also in Warren County, Ohio.
Warren County authorities have indicted Robinson on robbery, forgery, theft, and receiving stolen property charges.
Police said Robinson robbed the Amatulli Produce store in Middletown, Ohio, on June 4 and then robbed the First Financial Bank in Springboro, Ohio, the next day.
Washington County deputies said six days later, Robinson robbed the Carter Bank and Trust in Abingdon, Va.
Abingdon police pulled Robinson over and found bills from the robbed bank in his pockets.
A Warren County prosecutor said Robinson will have to be fully tried in Virginia before being extradited back to Ohio for his pending charges in Warren County.
