Police bust alleged prostitution ring in Lemon Township

LEMON TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Monroe police executed a prostitution sting at a home in Lemon Township Friday afternoon that led to the arrest of two people.

An undercover police detective with the Monroe Police Department went to a house, located at 517 Diamond Loop in Middletown, after an agreement was allegedly made to exchange sex for money.

Detectives arrested Alicia Cope, 26, who lived in the Diamond Loop home, and Jamie Waybright, 22, of Mason, and charged the two with soliciting, a third-degree misdemeanor, according to the Ohio Revised Code. Both parties were transported to Middletown County Jail.

Butler County Children Services was contacted after it was discovered that two young children were present in the house at the time of the arrests.
