Alleged robber pulls handgun on Middletown resident during home invasion

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - Middletown police responded to a home invasion robbery Monday.

The suspect approached the back door of a residence in the 1700 block of Church Avenue and told the resident that he had run out of gas. The suspect then entered the residence and pulled a black handgun on the resident and took all of the house-phones, according to police.

The suspect is described as a white male who was wearing a black jacket with a hood.

The suspect left the area on a bicycle.

The victim was not injured.

Officials have not released any additional information at this time.
