MONROE, Ohio - More than a month after an 87-year-old Middletown woman was found dead in the trunk of her car, police say they still have no solid leads.

Investigators haven’t said much about how 87-year-old Barbara Howe died. Police in Monroe are following leads they hope will guide them to whoever killed her.  Howe’s body was found in the trunk of her car at a Middletown apartment complex on Nov. 1.

Police say they believe Howe may have had contact with someone walking near the Woodbridge East Apartments in Middletown on the morning of Oct. 29.

The reward for any information leading to an arrest remains at $10,000. Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040.
