MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - A 3-month-old Middletown girl died Thursday morning after being rushed to a hospital by emergency responders.
Journey Rhule died at Atrium Medical Center after officers responded to her mother’s 911 call at 2601 El Camino Drive. The first officer on the scene attempted CPR before the infant was transported to the hospital.
The cause of death was not immediately available. The Warren County Coroner’s Office will be conducting an autopsy to determine why the infant died.
Middletown police processed the home in case the autopsy rules the death to be suspicious.
Other children were at the home, but they appeared to be fine, according to police.
The girl is the sixth infant who has died in Middletown since January.
