MARYSVILLE, Ohio - A former Mason High School teacher convicted of having sex with students began her prison sentence on Monday.

 

Stacy Schuler, 33, was transported to the Ohio reformatory for women in Marysville Monday morning.

Warren County Judge Robert Peeler sentenced Schuler to four years in prison on Thursday, Oct. 27 after finding her guilty of sexual battery and providing alcohol to minors.

Schuler had sex with five male students on various occasions at her Springboro home in the fall of 2010. She was convicted of 16 counts of sexual battery and three counts of providing alcohol to minors.

Judge Peeler sentenced Schuler to four years in prison with a possibility of release in six months. She faced a maximum sentence of 80 years.

Schuler must also register as a sex offender for the rest of her life.
