LEBANON, Ohio - The search for a possible second suspect in connection to the Tuesday morning fatal chase that claimed the life of Sgt. Brian Dulle of the Warren County Sheriff's Office had police all over the area near Lebanon High School, forcing a hold in place for the school Tuesday afternoon.
Officers and deputies lined the tree line on Drake Road near the school to search for a possible second suspect that may have been in the car when Sgt. Dulle was struck and killed, but after interviewing a suspect previously arrested in connection the incident, investigators say there was no second suspect.
Dulle, 36, was trying to place stop sticks and stop the vehicle that was fleeing from police in a high speed chase around 2 a.m. in Turtlecreek Township.
Warren County sheriff's deputies took 22-year-old Marcus Anothony Isreal of Middletown into custody in connection to the incident. He was found very close to the area where officers were searching for the second suspect.
Lebanon High School was in a hold in place pattern Tuesday afternoon, which means nobody was allowed to leave the school.
9 News reporter Deb Silverman said there are officers and deputies everywhere in the area.
