LEBANON, Ohio - A South Lebanon husband and wife will learn their punishment Thursday morning after they both pleaded guilty to 14 felony charges involving sexual activity with a minor.
In October, Leah and Benjamin Rodgers each pleaded guilty as charged in the Warren County Common Pleas Court to eight counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor and six counts of sexual battery.
From January through July of 2012 the couple allegedly engaged in sexual conduct with a minor and videotaped the minor engaging in sexual activity on numerous occasions according to Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell. He says the couple was acquainted with the juvenile, who was the same victim in each of the charges.
Tom Eagle, Benjamin Rodgers' attorney, says the couple didn't sexually abuse the teen and disagreed with many of the charges. But he said they pleaded guilty to avoid putting the teen through a trial.
Each defendant faces a maximum punishment of 68 years in prison.
