CINCINNATI - Former Butler County auditor Kay Rogers finds out Tuesday how much jail time she’ll serve.
Rogers will be sentenced in U.S. District Court at 9:30 a.m. Her attorney is asking she only serve one day in jail.
In 2008, Rogers pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit bank and mail fraud, and filing a false tax return.
The fraud charge was for her involvement with a loan for a fiber optics company.
It’s the same situation that brought down former county commissioner Michael Fox.
