HAMILTON, Ohio - It was a disappointing loss on Monday afternoon for the Hamilton West Little League Team.

On its fourth day of tournament play in the Great Lakes Regional Tournament, the team lost 9-11 to Michigan.

West Side Little League President Dave Hughes said this means the team is most likely now out of the tournament.  The top four teams go on to compete for the championship game and eventually the Little League World Series against other regions.

The 11-member team of 12-year-olds has a 1-3 record after playing Indiana, Kentucky, Wisconsin and Michigan over the last four days. The Hamilton Little Leaguers only win of the last four days was against Indiana on Friday, with a score of 7-3.

The team lost 2-10 to Kentucky on Saturday and 4-7 to Wisconsin on Sunday.
