HAMILTON, Ohio - Fire crews are investigating the cause of a blaze that engulfed a two-story duplex in Hamilton Thursday evening.
Firefighters reported heavy fire and smoke coming from both units when they arrived at 539 Sycamore Street around 5:30 p.m. They were able to fight the fires in battle fires in both dwellings at the same time, according to the press release from the Hamilton Fire Department.
Every fire unit in the city was at the scene.
No fire personnel were injured.
Damage to the property is estimated at $50,000.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
