FAIRFIELD - There's new information on an I-Team story about basketball legend Oscar Robertson and allegations that he owes employees back wages.

Robertson owns the chemical manufacturing company, Orchem, based in Fairfield.

The U.S. Department of Labor tells 9 News that Robertson has signed an agreement promising to pay four employees more than $44,000 by Oct. 29.

If he doesn't pay, the issue would most likely go into debt collection.

If Orchem declares bankruptcy, the Department of Labor will send the case to its solicitor's office to file a claim on behalf of the employees.
