CINCINNATI - A local restaurateur is doubling the reward to help find a missing Fairfield woman.

Jeff Ruby made the announcement Thursday that he will donate $25,000 to an already existing reward of $25,000 to help find 22-year-old Katelyn Markham.

The announcement was made at Ruby’s Columbia Tusculum restaurant, The Precinct.

Ruby said he hopes the additional reward money will make someone who may be afraid, brave enough to come forward with any information in to Markham’s disappearance.

Markham went missing Aug. 14 and was last seen by her fiance, John Carter, at her townhome the night she disappeared.

Police say there is no evidence of foul play. However, there is also no reasonable explanation for Markham's disappearance.

Her purse and car were found at her home but her red cell phone is still missing.

Anyone with information on the disappearance of Katelyn Markham is asked to call Fairfield police at (513) 829-8201.
