SWAT team called to Deerfield Twp. home

DEERFIELD, Ohio - Police continue to investigate the assault of a woman in Deerfield Township that resulted in a SWAT team being called to a home Wednesday afternoon.
Someone called 911 to report that a woman was being assaulted outside of a home in the 6800 block of Auburn Place around noon. Officers responded to the home where they found the injured woman inside.
The SWAT team removed the victim from the home while they tried to determine if the suspect was still inside the residence.
According to police, the victim is no longer cooperating with authorities. Investigators are working on a description of the suspect.
Police temporarily shut down the street while they investigated.
