ST. CLAIR TWP., Ohio - Authorities in Butler County arrested one man in connection to a stabbing incident after he allegedly entered a mobile home trailer and brandished a knife Saturday night.
Butler County sheriff’s deputies arrested Tommy Lyons, 51, of St. Clair Twp., after he allegedly entered the trailer of John Tittle, 58, also of St. Clair Twp., and stabbed him in the neck at the Airway Mobile Home Park in the 2000 block of Hamilton-Eaton Road at approximately 8:45 p.m., according to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
Tittle told authorities he was stabbed in the neck and managed to push Lyons into the bathtub and fled to a relative’s house, where he contacted police. Tittle was originally taken to Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, then later to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, where he remains hospitalized, according to authorities. The nature or seriousness of his injuries has not been released.
Lyons was found near the scene and was taken into custody and arrested on multiple violations, including attempted murder, aggravated burglary and tampering with evidence, according to deputies. Authorities have not released a motive for the alleged stabbing.
He remains in the Butler County Jail on $500,000 bond. Lyons’ preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 17 in Hamilton Municipal Court.
