AURORA, Ind. - An Indiana man was arrested Tuesday for child porn charges during a routine police check.

Police say they found not only photos of naked children, but many other disturbing items as well. Some of those items included 300 photos of children having sex with adults, 18 pairs of children's panties and a sex toy.

Police say they also found rope, adult pornography, a notebook with hand-written child sex stories, and hand drawn images of men and women.

Aurora police officer William Halbig was on a routine patrol when he checked out an empty building that was frequented by homeless people.

Halbig found the items in a makeshift living area in the basement of the building. He waited until Johnnie R. Cook returned to the building and arrested him.

Police say Cook has a tattoo of a cherries on his arm with the words "I like to pop" above them. Cook allegedly downloaded pornography on computers at the Lawrenceburg Public Library.

No other information is available at this time.
