LAWRENCEBURG, Ind. - A Lawrenceburg, Ind. man has turned himself in to authorities after Indiana State Police filed child molestation charges against him.
Michael Petro, 53, is in custody in the latest development after the Dearborn County Division of Children’s Services reported alleged sexual abuse that had occurred within the last year.
Petro allegedly molested a 7-year-old girl, which resulted in Class A and Class C felony charges. Petro turned himself in to the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center, where he is being held. His first court date and bond amount were not immediately available.
