MILAN, Ind. - Indiana police are investigating the death of a 68-year-old woman from Milan, Ind.
According to investigators, police responded to the home of Nancy Hershman at 607 West Ellis Street after around 1 a.m. Sunday morning after receiving a phone call from one of Hershman’s family members.
Upon arriving, police discovered Hershman, 68, deceased inside her home.
The Ripley County Coroner's Office will conduct an autopsy at 9 a.m. Monday to determine the manner and cause of Hershman's death.
Indiana police are treating this as an active and ongoing death investigation.
