Aurora police seek man wanted for alleged child abuse

AURORA, Ind. - Aurora police are searching for a man wanted in connection for the alleged abuse of a 23-month-old child.
Police say Tyler Woolpert, 21, allegedly battered the child while in his care. He is wanted for Neglect of a Dependent and Battery.
Woolpert is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 128 pounds, with green eyes, brown hair and a tattoo of a cross on his left arm and a tattoo of hands on his right arm.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Aurora Police Department at (812) 926-1101.
