VEVAY, Ind. - The Switzerland County Sheriff's Office and the Switzerland County Animal Control had seized more than 90 dogs from Cogley Road, near Vevay, Ind.
According to the county prosecutor, Monica Hensley, no charges have been filed, because the investigation is ongoing.
The round-up occurred on Tuesday from three mobile homes. The local radio station WKID 95.9 reports that the shelter is in need of cat litter, paper towels, trash bags, bleach, dog runs, crates and volunteers.
The shelter typically houses about 30 animals, and is now beyond capacity.
